WHY DO WE HAVE A COOKIE POLICY?

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, US, und Google Ireland Limited Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics also uses cookies to enable our Directory to analyse how users use our Directory across multiple devices. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our Directory is transmitted to and stored by Google, including transmission to the United States. The following data is processed through the use of Google Analytics:
- 3 bytes of the IP address of the called system of the website visitor (anonymised IP address);
- the website called up;
- the website from which the user reached the accessed page of our Directory (referrer);
- the subpages accessed from the website;
- the time spent on the website; and
- the frequency with which the website is accessed.
Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. The use of this service is based on your consent. Pixel Cookies and Tags
We use so-called Pixel Cookies and Tags (“Pixel Cookies”). A Pixel Cookie is an advertising tool and typically consists of a JavaScript code snippet that allows us to understand and track visitors’ activity on our Directory. For this purpose, Pixel Cookies collect and process information about visitors of our Directory and the device used (so-called event data).
Event data collected through Pixel Cookies is used for targeting our advertisements and improving ad delivery and personalised advertising. Jetpack
We have also integrated Jetpack by Automattic on our Directory. Jetpack is a WordPress plug-in that offers additional functions to the operator of a website built on WordPress. Among other things, Jetpack allows us to keep track of visitors. By displaying related posts and publications or the possibility to share content on the page, it is also possible to increase the number of visitors. In addition, security functions are integrated into Jetpack so that a website using Jetpack is better protected against brute force attacks. Jetpack also optimises and speeds up the loading of images integrated on the website. The use of this service is based on your consent.
SourceBuster
our Directory uses the service SourceBuster JS. The provider of this service is Sourcebuster, As this service is hosted locally on our web server, no data is transferred to third parties. The analytical cookies used are to identify the source of a visit and to store information about user actions. The use of this service is based on your legitimate interest.
