I graduated as an osteopath from University College of Osteopathy (formerly BSO) after which I completed the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy, and then the Diploma in Women's Health Osteopathy. I've been taking courses on female health including continence issues, gynaecology, and menopause on a regular basis. I also observed at Guy's Hospital's specialist menopause clinic. Having practised in England since my graduation 10 years ago, I moved to Orkney Islands in Scotland 2 years ago where I give talks for the public on female health including the menopause.
