Cranio-Mandibular: Learn the missing piece for treating neck pain, headaches, and orofacial pain; Dublin, Ireland

Dr. Tzvika Greenbaum has been a Physiotherapist since 2004, holding a combined clinical Master's degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports fields from the University of South Australia (2006). During and following his studies in Adelaide, Australia, he specialized in Manual Therapy for patients with neck pain and headaches, learning from leading clinicians such as Dr. Dean Watson, a renowned headache clinician and researcher.

Dr. Greenbaum is a private clinician at the Herzlia Medical Center Experts Clinic in Tel Aviv, where he primarily treats patients with neck and back pain, headaches, and temporomandibular disorders. Since 2011, he has been teaching physiotherapists and other health professionals at the post-graduate level about the rehabilitation of individuals with neck pain, headaches, and temporomandibular disorders. He is also the founder of The Cervico-Cranio-Mandibular Academy (CCMA), established to lead the field of Cervico-Cranio-Mandibular rehabilitation into modern evidence-based practice.

Dr. Greenbaum completed his PhD studies at Tel Aviv University, at the Faculty of Medicine. His research project, a collaboration between the physiotherapy department (School of Health Sciences) and the School of Dental Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine, focused on the relationship between specific temporomandibular disorders and impaired upper neck performance, as well as the prevalence and incidence of cervicogenic headaches among patients with temporomandibular disorders. This work has been published in leading journals in physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Science and Practice) and dentistry (European Journal of Oral Science), and Dr. Greenbaum has presented his research at various international conferences, including the 2019 World Conference of Physical Therapy and the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.

Currently, Dr. Greenbaum is leading an international multidisciplinary research project investigating the relationship between Cervico-Cranio-Mandibular Disorders and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
