Description
This seminar is designed to introduce the techniques of dry needling using acupuncture needles in the treatment of myofascial trigger points.
These techniques offer a safe and effective way to rapidly deactivate points using sub-dermal and intramuscular needling techniques. The course is highly practical and delegates are normally confident to needle their patients after the seminar.
John Reynolds is qualified in medicine in 1975 and subsequently pursued a specialist career in rheumatology and rehabilitation medicine in the RAF. He was Chief Medical Officer for the British Paralympic Team for eight years. Dr Reynolds has been a practising acupuncturist for twenty years. He is a past Chairman of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and remains a regular lecturer on BMAS Introductory and Post-Basic courses. His acupuncture training and practice is Western orientated although he does embrace some traditional meridian theory.
