Palpation Workshop

This course is designed to develop a stronger foundation in palpatory skills via improving sensitivity and accuracy in interpretation, manual assessment and treatment.

Emphasis is placed on developing your palpatory sensitivity, in relation to clinical reasoning and osteopathic principles.

Using hands-on practice and feedback, participants will build their confidence in using palpation as a diagnostic and assessment tool.

Topics;

Introduction to osteopathic palpation & principles.
Role of palpation in osteopathic assessment.
Development of palpatory sensitivity – via activities & exercises and grounding tools.
Differentiating levels – skin, fascia, muscle, bone etc.
Palpatory drills to develop sensitivity and focus.
